About Me

Hi,

I'm a history student at the University of Warwick, and have just finished a thesis on the effect of the socio-political context of the late 1960s on the critical reception to the work of Miles Davis and his black contemporaries. I'm also a lifelong student of music and all-round music nerd. I'm going to be sharing some of my views on albums old and new, as well as taking a look into the history and music theory behind the tracks we know so well.
